BOOKINGS

Your booking is reserved using your card details provided and you will be charged a deposit of the cost of the first night per room after reservation. Contactless payment of the balance against your booking will be taken 2 weeks prior to your arrival. 

CHECK IN

Contactless check in is between 4.00pm and 7.00pm, however late check in after 7.00pm is available by prior arrangement. 

CHECK OUT

Check out is by 10.00am on the day of departure.

CAR PARKING

We have one private parking space per room, should you require additional parking please advise prior to your stay. Vehicles are parked at your own risk.

NO SMOKING

To comply with current legislation Maes-y-Garth Guest House has a strict no smoking policy. Smoking is however permitted outside and for those wet days we have a covered area. Anybody found smoking inside the building will be asked to leave immediately and required to settle their bill in full. In addition because our smoke alarm system is sensitive to vapour as well as smoke the use of e-cigarettes (vaping) is not permitted inside the rooms / building.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Whilst we will try our best to accommodate special requests, dietary or otherwise, they should be discussed prior to booking. All special requests made after booking cannot be guaranteed and cannot form part of an agreed contract.

BREAKAGES / DAMAGES / EXCESSIVE CLEANING

Where appropriate compensation will be required for any breakages / damages caused as a result of your actions whilst staying with us. All breakages / damages should be reported as soon as practically possible, unreported breakages / damages will be charged to your nominated card details used to secure your booking. In addition should excessive cleaning be required due to your actions whilst staying with us this too will be charged to your nominated card.

CANCELLATIONS

** Whilst the Covid-19 pandemic continues there will be no charge for bookings which have to be cancelled or where dates are transferred due to UK government forced closure / lockdown **

Please remember that a reservation / booking constitutes a contract between yourselves and Maes-y-Garth Guest House.

If you cancel or amend your booking up to 31 days prior to your stay the cost of one night per room will be payable. If cancelled or amended later the full cost of your booking will be payable.

If you need to cancel or amend your booking within 31 days or less of your arrival date please let us know immediately and every effort will be made to re-let the room(s) and if we are successful in re-letting the room(s) at the same rate and for the full length of the stay the appropriate refund, less the cost of one night per room will be given.

Please note all cancellations even those submitted via the telephone must be confirmed in writing, you will also receive confirmation in writing from us.

Any reduction in the number of guests or the duration of your stay, prior to your stay or during your stay, the cost of the original booking is still applicable.

To prevent any potential loss due to cancellation we do stress the importance of taking out travel insurance to protect yourself.

No shows will result in your booking being charged in full.

All cancellation / no show charges will be made against your nominated card number. Deposit cheques are non-refundable.
